Hisar Celik Dokum Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S.; established in 1964, is a manufacturing company comprising a fully integrated foundry, machine shop and heat treatment facilities. The plant is located 40 Kms from Istanbul covering an area of 25.000 sqm. over a total space of 44.000 sqm.

With a rated capacity of 20.000 tons per annum, Hisar is not only one of the largest foundries in Turkey, but also one of the leading integrated steel foundries in the world. Over the last 50 years, Hisar has evolved from a small foundry to a leading international manufacturer and market trend-setter.

Since its formation in 1964, Hisar has invested heavily in automated, state of the art production technology and a highly skilled work force to maintain its competitiveness and to meet customer demands. The company’s world-wide reputation is based on very fast and flexible turn-around times to customer requests and the design of high quality requisite parts with competitive prices. Material grades range from SG Irons to Steel Base and on to more exotic materials such as Hi-Chromium Irons, Special Alloy Cast Steels, Graphitic Steels and Ferritic Irons. Over 12,000 tonnes of rolls, rings, sleeves and arbours can be manufactured up to the present–day size limit of 25 tonnes finished weight.
