Hezarfen Aeronautics and Space Technologies Institute

Aeronautics and Space Technologies Institute was established in 2001 and its duties and authorities are defined as higher education research institution that conducts post-graduate education, scientific research and applications in different branches of science specified in the relevant legislation.

In the 2001-2002 academic year at the Aeronautics and Space Technologies Institute, master's programs were opened in the departments of Aerospace, Electronics, Computer and Industrial Engineering. In 2003-2004, Space Sciences with the opening of the department, educational activities started to be performed in five main branches of science. In 2003-2004 education year second semester, doctoral education (PhD) started for the first time. In our institute there are graduate and doctoral degrees from TuAF, other Forces and Commission personnel and civilian students.

National Defense University was established on July 25, 2016. Since then, Aeronautics and Space Technologies Institute has taken the name of Hezarfen Aeronautics and Space Technologies Institute and has joined the National Defense University.
