HerbaFarm Academy

HerbaFarm Academy is the brainchild of Meltem Kurtsan, a pharmacist by training with deep roots in herbal health care, also founding president of Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey. The Academy is located in a beautiful corner of Bodrum, Turkey offering special courses and workshops since 2015 in natural health sciences; such as Aromatherapy, Phytotherapy, Natural Cosmetics, Homeopathy as well as Medicinal and Aromatic Herbs Cultivation.

HerbaFarm Academy is a NAHA Approved Aromatherapy School, hosting Level 1 and Level 2 online and in-class courses. Our professional aromatherapy certification courses are designed to provide in-depth and hands-on experience in aromatherapy and holistic healing with the involvement of prominent Academics.

HerbaFarm Academy provides consultancy on cultivation projects for medicinal and aromatic plants, formulation of natural and herbal cosmetics, creation of new concepts for Wellness resorts.

At present, HerbaFarm Academy provides consultancy to a well-known Wellbeing Retreat in Maldives in creating Aktar – a Herbology Center and developing retail natural cosmetic skincare product range.

JOALI BEING resides on the secluded natural island of Bodufushi in Raa Atoll, Maldives. It is the first nature immersive wellbeing retreat island in the Maldives, offering personalized transformative programs.

AKTAR is JOALI BEING’s herbology center, inspired by the rich heritage of healing through the power of herbs. Guests can address concerns around Mind, Skin, Microbiome and Energy with the resident herbalist who specialises in preparing natural remedies using herbs, spices and essential oils. With a curated library and a calendar of interactive workshops designed and developed by HerbaFarm Academy, guests can discover the benefits of herbal teas and attend workshops to learn how to make natural body creams, face masks and massage oils.
