HEP-SEN; Dünya Sağlık Örgütü tarafından ilan edilen “2020; Hemşirelik ve Ebelik Yılı”nda kurulmuştur. Kamuda sağlık ve sosyal iş kolunda görev yapan Tüm Sağlık Profesyonellerini hedef kitlesine alan HEP-SEN; bilimsel gerçekler ve adil standartlar çerçevesinde sağlık camiasının haklı, gür ve en önemlisi bağımsız sesi olmak amacıyla kurulmuş bir sendikadır. Çoğulcu ve katılımcı yapısıyla güçlü bir teşkilatlanma modeli benimseyerek ulusal ve uluslararası alanda ülkemiz sağlık çalışanları için menfi düşünceye hizmet eden siyaset fikrinden uzak yapısı da tüzüğüne işlenmiş bulunmaktadır. Merkezi İstanbul’da bulunan sendikamız Aile, Çalışma ve Sosyal Hizmet Bakanlığı tarafından faal sendika statüsünde yayınlanmıştır.
