Hendex is a Balsu Gıda Holding company. At our facility in Hendek, Sakarya, we are pioneering large-scale activated carbon production from hazelnut shells — a first for Turkey.
Activated carbon is the unseen yet indispensable component behind countless industries — from water and wastewater treatment to food and sugar refining, from air and gas filtration to mining and industrial processing. Turkey has long relied heavily on imports for this strategic material. We were founded to change that.
