Heletranz Helicopters, New Zealand

Heletranz is famous for pioneering Heli-Fishing and Heli-Dining in the Auckland region. Established over 28 years ago, we are the trusted experts in this field.

We fly from our base at the Heletranz heliport in Albany, from Mechanics Bay Helipad in Auckland City, the Airport and many other venues and private properties throughout New Zealand. We specialize in creating luxury, tailored solutions both in and around Auckland and Waiheke and further afield where we create exciting, itineraries throughout New Zealand designed especially for you.

With our fleet of single and twin-engine helicopters, including the luxury Agusta 109s Grand and Bell 427, we offer helicopter charter services and customised trips to some of the country’s most stunning remote locations—there is no better view of New Zealand than from the skies.

Your comfort and safety are paramount to us. Our professional pilots have a wealth of experience and work closely with the attentive concierges and travel planners to ensure we exceed expectations. Our business is all about people and we are proud to deliver exceptional customer service and discretion so that your experience is extraordinary and seamless from start to finish. We specialise in creating unique, tailored excursions where anything’s possible. Whether you’re looking for a corporate event, an active adventure or a romantic escape—we have the ultimate solution.

Owners John and Sofia Ambler are passionate about flying and offering the very best helicopter experience. It is our commitment to quality, with a personal touch, that brings people back again and again to Heletranz.
