Hedyn

At Hedyn, our vision is to have connected communities where everyone can live well. We use our expertise, scale and local knowledge to deliver excellent customer services that meet the needs of our residents, communities and future generations.

Hedyn was born following the merger between Melin Homes and Newport City Homes in April 2025. Hedyn is Welsh for seed. It symbolises growth, new beginnings, and the potential for positive change. By connecting people across five local authority areas in Wales, Hedyn is committed to building communities where everyone can thrive.

And it’s not just about a name. Hedyn is a values-led organisation, and these values will underpin everything we do
