Öğrenci toplulukları arasında Türkiye'nin en büyük enerji topluluğu olan Hacettepe Enerji Topluluğu, 2012 yılında kurulmuş olup enerji alanında düzenlediği birçok seminer ve etkinliklerle Hacettepe Üniversitesi öğrencileri başta olmak üzere ilgi alanı olan herkesin sektörle aralarındaki bağı oluşturmaktadır.
Hacettepe Enerji Topluluğu'nun en önemli gayeleri enerji alanında üyelerine teknik anlamda bilgi vermek ve bunun yanında yetkin bireyler olmaları için gerekli sosyal ve akademik alanı yaratmaktır. Teknik eğitimlerimizin yanı sıra sosyal alanda yaptığımız etkinliklerle öğrencilerimizin her iki alanda da bilgi sahibi ve sosyal yönleri gelişmiş bireyler olarak yetişmesini sağlamaktayız. Topluluğumuz, kurulduğu yıldan bu yana günden güne artan üye sayısıyla Hacettepe Üniversitesi'nin en aktif topluluklarından biri haline gelmiştir.
