GRAWINDY

Grawindy is a deep-tech renewable energy company developing an oscillation-based wind energy technology designed to complement conventional wind and solar infrastructure. The company is currently at TRL 6 and is focused on advancing toward TRL 7 through next-generation prototype development, long-duration real-world measurements, engineering optimization and product validation.

Grawindy’s development roadmap is designed to progress from TRL 6 to TRL 7, and subsequently toward TRL 8 and TRL 9 as the technology advances through validation, certification, scalable manufacturing and commercialization.

The company’s core technology is protected by granted patents in Türkiye and 23 European countries, with additional patent applications covering further technological components continuing as part of its international IP strategy.

Since its first patent application in 2017, Grawindy has developed multiple prototypes and conducted aerodynamic and fluid-dynamics testing. The company has received European recognition through the EIT Food Seedbed Program and the Synergist-EIC acceleration program, as well as angel and professional investment. To date, Grawindy has received approximately €550,000 in private investment in addition to European grants and awards.

Grawindy is currently seeking additional capital and strategic partnerships to accelerate the transition to TRL 7, support long-duration testing, strengthen engineering capabilities, expand IP protection, prepare for certification and advance commercialization.

As the technology progresses toward TRL 8 and TRL 9, Grawindy aims to access larger European and international funding opportunities and strategic investment to support product optimization, certification, scalable production and global market entry.
