GokturkSat

Founded in 2025 within the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, GöktürkSat is a dynamic model satellite project team dedicated to building the space technologies of the future today.

In our very first year of establishment, we proudly represented our country in the CanSat Competition, one of the world's most prestigious model satellite contests organized by the American Astronautical Society (AAS). By completing the PDR (Preliminary Design Review)—one of the most critical technical phases of the competition—with an outstanding score of 99.81%, we have achieved the honor of being:

Ranked 2nd Globally among all participants,

Ranked 1st among all teams representing Turkey.

With this success, we have become one of the few selected teams qualified to compete in the world finals to be held in the United States. Driven by a multidisciplinary engineering approach, we continue to push the boundaries in every stage of development, from avionics systems and mechanical design to software and data telemetry.

Our Goal: To contribute to the national technology initiative and establish a sustainable legacy of excellence in the fields of model rocketry and space sciences.
