Girls In Research is the world's first virtual, research and tech incubator for high school girls to create original, university-level, research projects. At G.I.R, every scholar is mentored by the top 1% of researchers worldwide. With student applicants from 65+ countries and student alumni in 35+ countries, G.I.R. is an award-winning organization whose impact have reached female researchers on 5 continents.

G.I.R. scholars lead projects across ranging from multimodal engineering and aerospace sustainability to theoretical physics and much more. Our researchers are actively shaping society whilst building advanced skills in critical analysis, academic rigor, and innovative ideation—qualities that prepare them well for admission to elite universities and success beyond.
