Ghella

Founded in 1894, Ghella is a major Italian global force recognized for its excellence in the construction of large-scale public infrastructure and expertise in the use of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs).

With five generations of long-standing tunnelling experience, we have completed over 190 tunnels, connecting more than 1,000 km of metros, railways, motorways, and hydraulic works.

We take pride in our diverse community of over 6,000 people, residing in fifteen countries, and working across four continents, primarily in Oceania, Europe, North and South America, and Southeastern Asia.

We operate to the highest standards of quality, innovation, and sustainability.

To achieve this, we employ cutting-edge technologies, pioneering construction methods, and continuous investment in people’s development. Occupational safety and environmental protection are at the core of how we work.

We strive to improve connectivity, enhance mobility, reduce environmental impact, and optimize the use of natural resources.

The world is our home. As for tomorrow, our approach remains unwavering: one step at a time, together.
