Generac International

At Generac, we work hard to provide innovative power solutions for your home, business, and beyond. Our goal is to help power a smarter world for the future, leading the evolution towards more resilient, efficient, sustainable energy. We believe in supporting our ever-expanding communities, creating next-generation solutions to today’s problems.

Founded in 1959, Generac has earned a reputation across the United States as an industry leader in power generation products for both home and business owners’ energy needs. We were the first to engineer affordable home standby generators and remain the #1 manufacturer in the market; today, over 1 in 7 home standby owners have a Generac. This expertise led to larger, scalable products for industrial and mobile power that meet the increasing demands of today’s world.

We began our journey in the U.S. and remain headquartered in Wisconsin. Through expansion and acquisitions, we have since established a global presence in more than 150 countries, adjusting to their markets for commercial & industrial, mobile, residential, portable, and other power products.
