Fusina has been one of the world’s leading producers of industrial aluminium rolled products since 1965.

Our plant, located in the historic industrial area of Marghera near Venice, covers 32 hectares.

We manufacture plates, sheets, shates and tread plates in hard and semi-hard alloys, with gauges up to 120 mm and widths up to 2900 mm, for advanced industrial applications.

In 2022, we began a new industrial chapter following our acquisition by DADA Holdings and Invitalia, marking the start of a revitalisation plan based on investment, sustainability and skills development.

With a capacity of 55000 tonnes/year, we have developed an advanced internal metallurgical process for the recovery and recycling of scrap.

Today, 75% of the raw material used in our remelting furnaces consists of selected scrap: half comes from our in-house processes, the other half from carefully sourced external scrap.

Primary aluminium usage has been reduced to around 25% and comes exclusively from low-carbon certified material, with traceability verified through the CarbonChain platform.

Each batch of secondary aluminium material undergoes metallographic, metallurgical, mechanical and corrosion resistance testing to ensure high and consistent performance.

We track our carbon footprint using CarbonChain and provide a detailed carbon footprint report to customers for ESG and Scope3 reporting.

In addition to multiple certifications we hold marine sector approvals from international bodies such as DNV, Lloyd’s Register, RINA and Bureau Veritas.

We actively collaborate with local Technical Institutes and the Metallurgy Group of the Department of Engineering and Management at the University of Padua, training the aluminium professionals of tomorrow.
