In disease biology, the laboratory investigates a spectrum of complex disorders, including cardiovascular disease, cancer, autism, polycystic ovary syndrome, epilepsy, childhood obesity, systemic lupus erythematosus, and polycystic kidney disease, aiming to unravel their genetic underpinnings and pioneer targeted therapeutic strategies.
Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Forkan is the Principal Investigator (PI) of the lab, overseeing its research direction and scientific initiatives.
