Flavii Therapeutics S.L. is a biotechnology company focused on developing epigenetic therapies for central nervous system (CNS) disorders. We are committed to transforming lives by offering new hope to patients and families affected by these conditions, which currently lack curative treatment options.

Our lead program, FLAV-27, is a first-in-class small molecule that acts as a potent and selective inhibitor of G9a, a key epigenetic regulator involved in brain function. FLAV-27 is a SAM-competitive inhibitor, offering high specificity with minimal off-target effects. It demonstrates excellent blood-brain barrier penetration and favorable pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) properties.

Preclinical studies have shown that FLAV-27 provides neuroprotection and improves neuroinflammation and neuronal plasticity in models of Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease, and neurodevelopmental disorders. It enhances cognition, memory, motor function, and social behaviors. Toxicology studies confirm a strong safety profile, with no adverse effects observed even at doses 200 times higher than the therapeutic dose.

Flavii is advancing FLAV-27 towards clinical trials, aiming to deliver a novel, disease-modifying treatment that addresses the root causes of CNS disorders and offers real hope to patients.
