Feedback Madagascar

Feedback Madagascar is a long-standing organisation, founded in 1995, partnering with over 540 rural communities in south-east Madagascar to tackle poverty and protect some of the world’s most unique and threatened forest landscapes – recognising that the two are deeply interconnected.

We work in some of the most remote corners of Madagascar, where access to basic services is especially limited and pressure on natural resources is immense.

Our programmes are shaped by the priorities of our partner communities, who identify the challenges they face and lead the solutions that make sense for their lives, livelihoods and landscapes.

Together, we work across clean water, health, education, human rights, livelihoods, and forest protection and regeneration, addressing root causes and symptoms.

Between us and our local sister organisation Ny Tanintsika (founded by Feedback Madagascar in 2002), we have grown into a team of 250 people — 99% of whom are Malagasy and based in Madagascar, ensuring a truly local perspective and approach.
