DNO Norge AS

Based in Stavanger, DNO Norge AS is a growth-oriented oil and gas company focused on mature areas in the North Sea. It is among the top 10 producers on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

DNO Norge AS is a subsidiary of DNO ASA, Norway's oldest oil and gas company. Founded by a group of young, adventurous shipowners and industrial leaders in 1971 and later listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, DNO ASA today holds stakes in onshore and offshore licenses at various stages of exploration, development and production in the North Sea, Middle East and West Africa. Since the start, DNO has continued to attract the type of people who are willing to take chances, venturing into new activities and new geographic areas, both onshore and offshore. A global mindset continues to characterize the Company.

Since re-entering the North Sea in 2017, DNO has been one of the most active and successful explorers on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. In 2025, the North Sea business was transformed by the acquisition of Sval Energi AS, which added material production to complement DNO’s already strong exploration and development portfolio.
