Overview
Demetra is an international social project dedicated to supporting gender-sensitive protection measures for senior women with dementia living in long-term care (LTC) institutions. Recognizing this group as highly vulnerable to abuse, our mission is to increase awareness, train healthcare professionals, and test innovative strategies to enhance their safety and dignity.
Operating across Germany, France, Italy, and Portugal, we work closely with healthcare professionals, institutional decision makers, NGOs, and political stakeholders to create lasting impact.
