Danone Egypt is a subsidiary of Danone company, with headquarters in Cairo operating since 2006. Leading in the dairy industry, Danone Egypt employs more than 1,500 employees, driven by the company’s mission to “Bring Health through food to as many people as possible.”

Danone Egypt has a factory in Obour which has been whitelisted since 2018 and a world-class farm in Nubaria, ranking the third-largest farm in Egypt. The company plays a vital role in placing sustainability at the heart of its operations and its various projects spanning over than 10 years, such as "Al-Omda" micro distributor project which focuses on health accessibility through food in rural communities; the "Alban Baladna" Milk Collection Centres project aim to establish dairy collection centres in upper Egypt, while the "Kheir Ardena" project seeks to localise soybean cultivation. In addition, Danone Egypt and the Egyptian Food Bank’s (EFB) “Zero Food Waste” program aims to eradicate hunger across Egypt and provides weekly products to EFB’s beneficiaries.
