The business is owned and operated by our CEO, Calvin Thedinger, who re-founded CT Sounds in January 2020 at the age of 23. The brand was originally founded in 2013 by Calvin’s older brother, Coleman Thedinger, who passed away in August 2019. While liquidating the remaining inventory stored in his brother’s garage, Calvin quickly noticed a gap in the online market and believed he could revive the financially depleted brand.

With a vision to rebuild and grow, Calvin invested over $100K to redesign and launch a completely revamped product lineup. Moving from the garage to a 1,250 sqft warehouse, CT Sounds began its transformation. Through Calvin’s leadership and unwavering dedication, the brand has grown exponentially, now operating out of a 40,000 sqft facility as of August 2025!
