Coastal Construction Company

Coastal Construction Group, and the Murphy Family, have been building throughout South Florida for five generations. Operating in Florida for more than 5 decades, Coastal employs more than 600 people and has developed a distinguished roster of public and private clients. Coastal focuses on nine primary markets:

Commercial, Hospitality, Education, Residential, Mixed-Use, Interiors, Worship, Historic Restoration & Disaster Recovery

Coastal has won numerous national, regional and local awards and recognition for professional and philanthropic achievements including being recognized by Engineering News Record (ENR) Southeast as “Contractor of the Year” in 2014. In addition, ENR honored Chairman and CEO Tom P. Murphy, Jr., with the first-ever “Legacy Award” for his lifetime achievement in the construction industry. Coastal receives these recognitions largely in part because we excel at being able to adjust to client needs and project challenges. Coastal takes great pride in its track record of over 85% repeat clients and design teams.

Coastal’s passion for excellence extends beyond the job site. Among the company’s core values of Integrity, Safety, Quality Workmanship, and the Maintenance of Personal, Long-Term Relationships is its strong emphasis on being a trusted and concerned community member. Coastal Cares, our philanthropic arm, continually provides monetary and in-kind contributions to hundreds of organizations and businesses throughout South Florida.

With every project we build, it’s not just our business on the line…it’s our family’s name and reputation. That's why at Coastal, It’s Not Just Business… It’s Personal.
