City of Coral Springs

Coral Springs has become a premier South Florida community, known for its abundant parks, quality schools, numerous athletic programs, and attractive neighborhoods.

In 1963, Coral Springs was founded on the edge of the Florida Everglades in Broward County. What was once acres of green been fields is now home to more than 128,000 residents, with millions of square feet of commercial, retail, warehouse and manufacturing space.

The first city to win the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, Coral Springs is today what pioneers envisioned: a neighborhood of top-rated schools, successful businesses and progressive, business-friendly leadership creating a master-planned City of Tomorrow.

Family Friendly and Future Ready - Coral Springs has one of the youngest populations in Florida, and families of all ages are well served with A-rated schools and low crime rates.

An Active Lifestyle - Coral Springs was created with active lifestyles in mind. The city has hundreds of acres of parks, neighborhood green spaces and world-class recreation facilities.

A New Downtown - The city worked with experts in real estate, architecture, urban planning and finance to create mixed-use residential and commercial development in Downtown Coral Springs. The opening of our new Municipal Complex and parking garage in 2018 improved investments in our Downtown area.

A Business-Friendly Approach - Coral Springs has easy access to airports, seaports and major highways. We work closely with businesses to redevelop properties and accelerate the building process.
