Türkiye’de değerlendirilebilir atıklar konusunda sürdürülebilir bir geri kazanım sisteminin geliştirilebilmesi için;
• Sanayinin görüşlerini tüm paydaşlara ileterek atık yönetimi ile ilgili çağdaş yasal altyapının oluşturulmasına katkıda bulunmak.

• Atık yönetimi konusunda yurtiçi ve yurtdışı uygulamalarını dikkate alarak bilgi birikimini sağlamak, çevre bilincinin oluşturulmasına yönelik etkin tanıtım, eğitim ve bilgilendirme çalışmaları yapmak, AR-GE çalışmalarına katılmak, ilgili paydaşlara danışmanlık ve teknik destek vermek.
