Overview
The University of Mississippi is home to the United State’s first and only LL.M. in Air and Space Law offered by an ABA-accredited law school — and now, the first and only Master of Science in Air and Space Law.
Building on a legacy that began in 1965, we offer a full suite of programs for lawyers and non-lawyers alike:
- J.D. Concentration in Remote Sensing, Air and Space Law
- Graduate Certificate in Air and Space Law
- LL.M. in Air and Space Law (on-campus or online)
- Master of Science in Air and Space Law (for non-lawyers and policy professionals)
Our students and scholars draw on unmatched resources — including the world’s oldest Journal of Space Law (est. 1973) and one of the most comprehensive air and space law libraries on Earth. The Law School’s Space Law Archive preserves the work of pioneers like Andrew G. Haley, Eilene M. Galloway, and Stephen Gorove.
LL.M. candidates may also join the Journal of Space Law editorial board and represent Ole Miss in the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition.
