British Engines

British Engines has been at the forefront of engineering excellence for over a century.

As a global engineering partner, the Group delivers high-performance, protective solutions that keep critical systems running in some of the world’s most demanding environments — from protecting energy systems in the deepest oceans to securing global power infrastructure.

Founded in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1922, British Engines has grown into a global engineering group comprising nine specialist businesses - BEL Engineering, BEL Valves, Rotary Power, Michell Bearings, Tyne Pressure Testing, CMP Products, Stephenson Gobin, Stadium Export Services, and 42 Technology (42T).

With core design and manufacturing facilities in the UK, complemented by operations in India and Germany, the Group is further supported by an established network of sales and distribution offices across Australia, Canada, China, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
