Borusan Oto 1984 yılında, GmbH ve Borusan Holding ortaklığıyla imzalanan BMW distribütörlüğünden, bir yıl sonra satış ve satış sonrası tesisi ile ilk olarak Borusan Oto Avcılar’da hizmet vermeye başlamıştır. 1996 yılında distribütörlüğünü yaptığı BMW markasını kullanılmış otomobil pazarında da en iyi şekilde konumlandırmak için kullanılmış otomobil alım satımına başlamıştır. BMW markasının yanı sıra, 1998 yılından itibaren dünyanın en iyi arazi aracı unvanına sahip olan Land Rover markasına ve 2001 yılından itibaren MINI markasına ait satış ve servis hizmetlerini sunmaktadır. 2014 yılının Ağustos ayından itibaren Jaguar markası Borusan Otomotiv’e katılmış ve böylece Borusan Oto hizmet ettiği markalar kapsamına Jaguar markasını da dahil etmiştir.
30 yılı aşan tecrübesi, uzman ve müşteri odaklı ekipleri ile İstanbul, Ankara, Adana-Mersin, Gaziantep, Bodrum, Çorlu ve Diyarbakır olmak üzere toplam 7 il ve 11 tesis ile satış, satış sonrası ve kullanılmış oto alanlarında hizmet vermektedir. 700’ü aşkın, alanında uzman çalışana sahip Borusan Oto; BMW, MINI, BMW Motorrad, Jaguar ve Land Rover tutkunlarının birinci tercihi olmaya devam etmektedir.
