Launched in 2005, BILLIONAIRE is the brainchild of far-sighted and influential Italian entrepreneur and Formula One celebrity Flavio Briatore, whose idea was to create the first haute couture line dedicated exclusively to men. BILLIONAIRE opened its first boutique in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, followed by units in Las Vegas, Dubai, Moscow, Miami, Geneva and most recently Milan. Today it counts 30 stores plus 48 sales points worldwide. In 2007, Briatore joined forces with international business company PERCASSI, further developing and expanding the brand.

In May 2016, a new phase for the brand commenced with the acquisition of a majority stake in BILLIONAIRE by Philipp Plein with the aim to raise the brand’s awareness globally, broaden the product range and drive retail expansion by leveraging on Philipp Plein’s synergies, know how and infrastructure.
