Aura Power

Aura Power is a renewable energy developer and Independent Power Producer (IPP), developing and delivering high-quality solar and battery storage projects that contribute to a cleaner, more secure energy system.

Founded in 2013, we have developed more than 3GW of renewable energy projects and have an active pipeline of over 10GW of utility-scale solar PV and energy storage projects across five countries.

Headquartered in the UK, with regional teams in Portugal, Germany, Italy and Lithuania, we focus on developing projects where renewable and low-carbon technologies can provide a competitive alternative to fossil-fuel generation.

We are currently constructing a UK solar and BESS portfolio of more than 800MWp, with an ambition to build and operate more than 1.4GW in the UK by 2028.

We engage openly with local residents, parish councils and stakeholders throughout the development and construction of our projects, listening to local priorities and seeking to respond wherever possible. We also provide long-term community benefit funds to support initiatives that deliver lasting value in the communities around our projects.
