Argent BioPharma

Argent BioPharma (ASX: RGT), formerly MGC Pharmaceuticals, is a biotechnology company that develops, manufactures and supplies prescription medicines.

We work across more than one therapeutic platform. Our clinical programmes to date are built on plant derived compounds, and our NanoBodies programme extends the company into antibody engineering, with the intellectual property filed and published.

We run our own EU GMP certified manufacturing in Slovenia and Malta and our research programmes in Slovenia and Israel. The same team controls the work from discovery and formulation through clinical evidence to regulatory filing. That is unusual at our size and it is the reason our products reach patients rather than stopping at the laboratory.

Our lead therapy, CannEpil, is a pharmaceutical grade cannabinoid treatment for drug resistant epilepsy. It reaches patients through four separate national routes: reimbursed prescription in Ireland, a regulatory licence in Germany, Named Patient Supply in the United Kingdom and the Special Access Scheme in Australia. In 2026 we licensed CannEpil globally to Splash Beverage Group Inc, now Endovia Health Sciences (NYSE American: EDVA), in a transaction delivering US$5.5 million and extinguishing US$5.5 million of secured convertible debt.

Our second line is CimetrA, a botanical formulation. It is sold as a supplement under the CimetrA name, while CimetrA (SNEDDS) is the pharmaceutical form.

The science is published, not asserted. Our programmes have produced peer reviewed work on cannabinoid activity in glioblastoma, prostate cancer and melanoma, and on nanoformulated delivery.
