AQUIRIS

Hi! We are AQUIRIS, and we love making video games. Our headquarters are in southern Brazil, in a delightful city called Porto Alegre. We also have a remote team working from locations around the world. With over a decade of experience and a passionate, highly-qualified group of over 150 people, our primary focus is delivering the best in artistic, technical, and fun-to-play games to our fan base. To that end, we work independently or collaborate with publishing partners, creating games for a broad range of platforms: from mobile to PC and consoles. AQUIRIS has developed great games for Cartoon Network, such as CN Superstar Soccer and The Great Prank War, and original IPs like the first-person shooter Ballistic Overkill. Our most recent games are Horizon Chase World Tour, Horizon Chase Turbo, and Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem. Every day, we wake up with a question in mind: how can we make unique games for our players? We have been crafting the answer over time with discipline and hard work.

AQUIRIS was founded in 2007 by Amilton Diesel, Mauricio Longoni, and Israel Mendes. They teamed up to develop virtual reality and advergames in a 30 square meter office, even before releasing the first iPhone. Later on, they met Raphael Baldi, Kely Costa, and Sandro Manfredini, whose talents led them to become partners and join the executive board. Today, AQUIRIS is a must-read chapter in the history of Brazilian video games and one of the leading game development studios in Latin America.
