AO

When our customers have a smile on their face, we know we’ve done a good job and that’s at the heart of everything we do. It’s safe to say we’ve put lots of smiles on our customers’ faces! We have more 5* Trustpilot reviews than any other UK electrical retailer! Which means we’re rated ‘Excellent’ from over 700k customer reviews!

We’re known for helping our customers brilliantly in the moments that matter, and that’s all down to our amazing AOers.

AOers are the kind of people you want in life, not just in work. We’re fun, massively driven, we encourage one another, and we do the right thing. We’re always comfortable being our authentic selves and we make sure everyone else feels the same. Our mission is to be the destination for electricals and we’re super focussed on achieving that together. But don’t just take our word for it – our reviews and survey results speak for themselves!

Giving you the right tools to be the best version of yourself so you can drive your career forward, matters. We know everyone learns in their own way, that’s why we have a whole heap of options and support to get you there. If you’re eager and have plenty of drive, you’ll find a whole world of development at your fingertips with us.

To us, doing the right thing is part of who we are. We spread joy to customers, support causes our AOers are passionate about, and we’re green in more ways than one. We offer MAD (Make A Difference) days so every year, AOers can go ‘MAD’ swapping two days at their desk for two days out in the wild doing good.

We’ve grown a lot in the last 25 years from a £1 bet to a big business. Over a drink in a Bolton pub, our CEO John Roberts bet his friend that there was a better way for people to buy electricals online, and since we’ve hit some pretty big milestones! If a £1 bet in the pub between two friends can become the “UKs most trusted electrical retailer”, imagine what else can be achieved when we we’re together!
