ALK Group began its journey in 1978 in Istanbul as a family-owned enterprise with the founding of AKAL Textile. Built on strong business ethics and reliability, the group earned a respected position in the industry and made a major leap forward in 1993 through large-scale production investments, reaching tens of thousands of consumers internationally.

AKAL is recognized as one of the pioneering manufacturers of coordinated and matching products in the textile accessories sector. With its original brands — SUYUTTI, NORDBRON, SYT, KİTTİ, and KEPP — the company serves a wide customer base across both domestic and global markets.

In 2000, ALK Group expanded into the textile promotion industry by establishing ALKAN Textile Promotion in Istanbul. By delivering promotional products such as hats, t-shirts, jackets, bags, and workwear to private companies, public institutions, NGOs, festivals, and large-scale organizations—on time and in full—the group quickly built a strong reputation.

To closely follow developments in the Asian market, ALK Group opened a sourcing office in China in 2010 and continues to export directly from the region. In 2015, AKAL GmbH was established in Germany to manage and strengthen the group’s European finance and logistics operations, particularly supporting the growth of the Nordbron brand across Europe.

In 2016, the wholesale unit Brandmanor was launched to bring prestigious international brands to Turkey through a distributorship model. Brandmanor also operates via e-commerce and has a widespread sales network across department stores, chain retailers, outdoor and sports stores, boutiques, ski resorts, and stationery shops.

Today, all companies under the ALK Group umbrella continue to invest and grow with a long-term vision.
