We build Adeu: tools and support for teams shipping AI into legal work.

The walls a legal AI product hits are never the product itself. Word's

revision format. Making a real mailbox safe for an agent to touch. Getting a

model to work on document structure instead of raw markup. We maintain those

parts in the open, so your team spends the quarter on what only you can build.

What we maintain:

Redlining engine. Turns a .docx into something a model can safely edit, blocks

the edits that would corrupt the file, and writes native Word tracked changes

back out with layout, fonts, numbering and margin comments intact. MIT

licensed, Python and TypeScript.

Mailroom for agents. Connects Gmail and Microsoft mailboxes and gives an agent

a bounded surface to read, draft and send: allowed recipient domains, rate

limits, dry run by default, and every action in a ledger. Early, and public.

Whatever stack you already run. MCP servers, a LangChain toolkit, Agent Skills

and an n8n node.

An open benchmark for how AI tools edit Word files. It is ours, and Adeu is

one of the tools it scores.

Then the part that is not software: a maintenance commitment, a named

counterparty, a support agreement, and white-label terms if you would rather

ship all of it under your own name. The engineers who maintain the tools are

the ones who answer.

We are infrastructure, not a platform. There is no workspace your users log

into, and no review product competing with the one you are building.

Adeu also runs directly for in-house legal teams, inside Outlook, Word and

Claude Desktop.
