The greatest NGO project ever held by students in history of Turkish Republic

The project 20 Days 10 Schools, with the motto “Let’s be Hope & Built 10 Schools in 20 Days”, is the project of simultaneously building “10” primary schools from scratch with an environment-friendly comprehension by university students from all departments and primarily by the Civil Engineering and Architecture students on their own, through August 2010.

Briefly the project is a basically vocational civilian project; that is to be totally carried out by students, that is progressing with the aim of decreasing the infrastructural problems and lacks in schooling rates; that is prescribed to be effectuated by the network and impact area of the current İMTB (Civil Engineering Student Community Association of Turkey) and various construction related professional associations including The Building Information Center Of Turkey , The Turkish Contractors Association, Turkish Green Building Council and Association of Turkish Building Material Producers, etc…

In conclusion;

*10 Green Schools will be constructed simultaneously in August 2010.

*After having completed the trainings, university students will construct the schools by themselves under the supervision of site experts.

*Schools will be constructed with a nature conscious and sustainable/green building concept which makes the project unique in this respect.

*With 500 students from all of Turkish universities and 150 person of technical team from 10 construction firms, nearly 700 people will be working in the construction process.
