Vavana more than a fragrance: a story.
Just as smell is the sense most closely linked to memory, we believe that fragrance and history are irrevocably intertwined. That is why Vavana draws inspiration from the famously rare and costly fragrance formulas of the bygone Ottoman Empire, once stored in the Topkapi Palace treasury and found today at the Topkapi Palace Museum in Istanbul. This is a collection of utter decadence: exceptional quality ingredients create a fragrance that is not merely pleasant, but transformative: a fragrance that can be told like a story and shared like a gift. What makes Vavana so different?
At Vavana we have never used any synthetic direct carcinogenic raw materials on our fragrance oils even in allowable usage rate which are listed on CA Prop 65 (As of 25 February 2022) and European Chemical Agency CLP (No 1272/2008 ATP 17) regulations. Therefore, with the correct formulation,
our fragrance oils can be even used as Eau de Perfume.
