Tufan Pharma Lab

Tufan Lab is a pharmacological research laboratory specializing in vascular physiology and pharmacology using isolated organ baths. Our work focuses on investigating vascular contractility and relaxation induced by several endogeneous and exogeneous substances with applications to understanding mechanisms of hypertension, endothelial dysfunction, and related cardiovascular disorders. By developing standardized experimental protocols and fostering interdisciplinary training, the lab advances both fundamental pharmacological knowledge and the preparation of future researchers in the field.
