Torlak Family, has established its relationship with industry in the early 1900’s thereby building wooden vessels in Black Sea shores. By passing down its experience, Torlak Shipyard is continuing its service for the maritime industry successfully for over 100 years.
The family founded their first company in 1970 at Golden Horn / Istanbul and carried forward their activities there until moving to its currently located region, Tuzla in 1983. Since 1983, Torlak Shipyard expedited its additional investments and technological developments in Tuzla, where is assigned as new Shipyard Area by the government.
Shipyard is serving for the maritime industry at the highest level with two newbuilding slipways and one of the biggest floating docks in the region and has succesfully constructed and delivered more than 60
newbuilding projects in different types up to now.
