The Bilkent Union

Bilkent Union Society plays a leading role in the development of debate, panel discussions, seminars and individual speeches with a progressive and innovative approach to forms of discussion and thought. Based on the principles of free thought and innovation, our society aims to create a platform where opposing views can be engaged in the same environment, allowing various experts, academics, media elements, and student or other community representatives to reflect their views.

While touching on fields such as theology, political science, economics and philosophy, it undertakes the task of reinforcing its conciliatory identity away from clichés with its original event methods.

Within the framework of its contacts with Union Societies, the main practitioners of the innovative school of thought, it discusses the impact of the economy, diplomacy, positive and negative sciences of the future on societies, focusing on futurism and progressivism. In this regard, it hosts guests who are nationally and internationally renowned and ensures that the discussion process and final declarations are made public through various media tools. Throughout this process, it aims to contribute to the intellectual and social development of its members by creating a privileged fraternity culture where Bilkent University values are exalted.
