Along with the privately held Senolsun group, it dominates the global wide neck plastic jar market, and it is the world's largest manufacturer of wide neck plastic jars. Teknopet holds the 480th position in the Turkish 500 list of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry.

In April 2004, Teknopet Plastic Products and PET Packaging Corporation produced its first PET jar.

Teknopet’s average annual growth rate is 85% since 2004.

Teknopet controls 75% of the world’s wide neck plastic jar market.

Teknopet is also the one of the biggest recyclers in the world, recycling 80% of its sales.
