About
TARS Autonomous Systems Team is a university-based engineering team focused on the design and development of autonomous marine technologies.
Our primary mission is to develop high-performance underwater robotic systems capable of navigation, autonomous control, and mission execution under extreme marine conditions.
We are finalists of TEKNOFEST Underwater Rocket Vehicle Competition, where we design and develop SARA (Submerged Autonomous Rocket Vehicle), a torpedo-form autonomous system capable of:
• Autonomous underwater navigation
• Precision route tracking
• Hydrostatic pressure resistant hull design
• Safe and reliable rocket launch sequencing
• Full system fail-safe and emergency control mechanisms
Our multidisciplinary team integrates:
• Mechanical design & hydrodynamic analysis

• Autonomous navigation algorithms
• Safety-critical system engineering
