SOCAR Aliağa Terminal: The Largest Integrated Port of the Aegean Region
SOCAR Aliaga Terminal maintains its operations in line with the integration vision and missions of SOCAR across Turkey while it protects the-then port management system and operational structure of the port.
Having an integrated dock structure of 700 meters and a minimum water depth of 16 meters, SOCAR Aliaga Terminal is the first and only port management to provide service to the ships with a capacity of 18.000 TEU efficiently in the Aegean Region. Equipped with a handling capacity of 1.5 Million TEU containers, the terminal is the largest terminal across the Aegean Region.
Having a logistics space of 42 hectares and 6 hectares on the port reach and support services area, respectively, for container storage, the terminal also embraces a general cargo dock extending 150 meters long and reaching a depth of 10 meters. The general cargo dock of SOCAR Aliaga Terminal is equipped with a carrying capacity of 10 tons/m2, and an additional storage area of 30 decares can also be provided for project cargo shipments that require storage.
With many innovations, a strong infrastructure and a set of values introduced to both customers and ship operators, SOCAR Aliaga Terminal continues to add values to both the Aegean Region and Turkey.
