Selektif Teknoloji is a Arı Teknokent company which focused on producing selective surface

coating on plain metal sheets for absorbing solar thermal energy with high efficiency. Especially

in cold regions that have day light; selective surfaces can be used to provide hot water,

space heating or even cooling in future needs. This technology can also be used for industrial

purposes. Any field which needs hot water or drying equipment can utilize from STE.

Selective surface is a nano technology product which is coated on copper plates which are

copper rolls with the dimensions (600 mm (width) x 0,12 mm (thickness). (flexibility in lenght for the collector producer). Production capacity of manufacturing line is

100.000 m2 per year. The optical qualifications and 25 years life span of product is accredited

by Solartechnik Prufung Forschung Institute fur Solarteechnik(SPF).

Company researches has won Elginkan Foundation Technology Reward in 2010 and Tübitak - Tüsiad - TTGV

Technology Rewards in 2011. The solar thermal heating system which contains our selective product

has been utilized in swimming pool facility of city hall in Konya. Also, one in the west coast of Turkey and

the other one in the east of Turkey, in two different cities our product is used to dry vegetables

and fruits. The results of food drying attempt were magnificent. The drying process gains speed, is

completed in much shorter time period while it gives the opportunity to dry foods in closed hygienic environment.

Solar thermal technology is not only about heat efficiency but also environmentalist by preventing carbon emission.
