I am the Managing Director of RBT, a London-headquartered apparel manufacturer with Manufacturing Units in Bangladesh, supplying high-street and contemporary fashion brands across the UK, European Union, and United States.

Ruhrose RBT specialises in two core product categories: Denim & Casual Woven (approximately 65% of our output) and Circular Knitwear (35%). Our client portfolio includes UK retailers such as Blacksmiths, Luke, Offkey, Covered fashion, Trappaholic, Ragged Priest, Very, Pretty Green, and Burton ; European brands including Motivi and Oltre in Italy, Butcher of Blue in the Netherlands, and Multiply Apparel in Germany; and US partners including Akira.

Across more than two decades in the apparel industry, I have built end-to-end expertise in garment manufacturing, Bangladesh sourcing, fabric and trim procurement, costing and merchandising, tech pack development, production planning, quality control, ethical compliance, and shipping and logistics into the UK, EU, and US markets. I work closely with brand sourcing teams on programme development, MOQ negotiation, lead-time management, and price engineering for both fast-fashion and premium contemporary lines.

I have direct operational experience navigating the post-Rana Plaza compliance landscape including Accord and Alliance frameworks, BSCI, Sedex, SA8000, OEKO-TEX, and GOTS certifications, as well as the emerging EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), Product Digital Passport and fibre-to-finish traceability requirements that are reshaping how brands source from Bangladesh.
