About
Organization of Turkic States was establihed in 2009 as an international intergovernmental organization with the overarching aim of promoting comprehensive cooperation among Turkic States. Its Member States are Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye and Uzbekistan. Hungary received observer status in 2018, Turkmenistan in 2021, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in 2022 and the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in 2023.
