The National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, commonly named the SC or the Syrian Coalition, was formed on November 11th, 2012 in Doha Qatar. The Syrian Coalition works to aid and support the revolutionary forces struggling to overthrow the Assad regime and to transition Syria towards a democratic and pluralistic civil state. The Coalition also plays an important role in liaising between the needs of the Syrian people and the international community.
