Mehmet Büyükçiftci, Chairman of the Board of Memet Makina Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş., was born in Konya in 1972.

He entered the industrial sector at the age of 12, beginning his career at various companies while still young. Progressing through the stages of apprenticeship and journeymanship, he accumulated valuable experience and expertise in his field. He put this knowledge into practice by establishing his own business in 1997. To launch the venture, he borrowed a tractor from his father—valued at approximately $6,000 at the time—and used it as capital. He began operations in a small industrial estate, occupying an 80-square-meter space equipped with a single lathe. Today, it operates across a total area of ​​40,000 square meters (including 26,000 square meters of indoor space), employs a skilled workforce of 180 people, and exports to more than 77 countries worldwide.
