Kutes

Kutes was established in 1986 by Mehmet Bekir Kutmangil to conduct subcontract coal, sand, and clay mining operations in licensed mining areas in Istanbul, managed by the Kutmangil family since 1954. In 1990, Kutmangil ventured into a new field by deciding to invest in an iron casting foundry in Çorlu, Tekirdağ. In 1992, Kutes Casting successfully produced its first casting.

In 2016, Kutes decided to expand the services provided to its customers by investing in a CNC machining facility, launching production at the Kutes Machinery facility in 2017. In 2022, Kutes made a breakthrough in its industry by publishing the first GRI-approved sustainability report and set an ambitious green production target for 2033. In 2023, Kutes' production facilities were declared a Special Industrial Zone by the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey.

In 2024, Kutes completed the investment in solar power plants with a total capacity of 26 MWp in Kırklareli and Edirne, launching Kutes Energy. This significant milestone enabled Kutes to source a substantial portion of its production energy from green sources.
