Hiwell is the leading online therapy platform in Greece, Portugal and Turkey, with more than 1,000,000 registered users. Over 2,000 licensed psychotherapists offer sessions through the platform. To make the platform accessible to people in different countries, sessions are available in nine languages.

In 2021, Hiwell received a $550,000 investment from Boğaziçi Ventures, a well-established venture capital firm. By November 2022, Hiwell's valuation had increased fivefold, followed by an additional investment from BV Growth Fund, a subsidiary of Boğaziçi Ventures, at an $11 million valuation. In 2024, Hiwell closed a $3.5 million pre-Series A round at a $28.5 million valuation.
