GUNKON Construction is established in 1987 under the name of of GUNBAR Construction Ltd. as a partnership and operated in the market until 1999 when two partners decided to work for their own. In 1999, the main share holder Mehmet Şefik Güngör established GUNKON Construction Ltd.
Main operation areas have been the factory constructions from green field for foreign investors and for major Turkish industrialists. Other than factory constructions; schools, villas, multistorey apartment buildings have been constructed
